YGFA Children’s Medical Campaign

Young 14 Year Old Mark Dies From Brain Infection

“I was woken up one morning during the first week of April-2017 around 3:24AM with a phone call from Bertha Adzadi, in Ghana West Africa with very sad heartbreaking news, to let me know that one of YFGA’s adopted sons passed away that morning from a brain infection. His name was Mark and he was just only 14 years old.

Mark’s death could have been prevented if he would’ve had money for proper medical care, and I never want this to happen again to any of my children in the future when I know I can do something about it to prevente it. Mark comes from a very poor family in a village in the Volta region of Ghana West Africa. He did not live with his mother because she was too poor to care for him, so Bertha Adzadi took him along with 11 other children from other poor family to take care of them the best she could with the help of YFGA

YFGA has only been able to provide food and sometimes pay for school fees for these beautiful children.

YFGA is starting a Medical Fund campaign to raise money for these children medical care to prevent something like what happen to Mark from happening in the future. In the above picture is Mark’s deceased body laying on the floor of a village house on a pile of blankets and pillows. No one had money for Mark burial, so I had to come out of my own personal moneys to send and pay for his burial.

I am humbly asking for your generous donation to help build a medical fund for these beautiful poorest of the poor village children that my heart go’s out to. No amount is to small. What ever you can give is very much appreciated. If you understand how the medical system works in Ghana, then you know that in order to get any kind of medical treatment, you have to first pay before you receive any medical care and if you have to be admitted into a hospital, you must pay a deposit first or you will die waiting for treatment. It is not like what it is here in California USA where you can get medical care first and then billed later. in most hospital emergency unit, their policy is to administer treatment to the patient whether or not they have the ability to.

YFGA is a nonprofit 501c3 charitable organization. Your generous donations are tax deductible. You can also contact us at youfoundghanartsbusines@gmail.com or 916-752-3555.

I want to thank you all in advance for your help in supporting this very important cause. You might save a life in doing so.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!,

Youlanda Muhammud, Founder and CEO of YFGA.
